Kameleon Kostumes is the leading supplier of fancy dress costumes in Tasmania. We have been operating for many years and are located in New Town, approximately 5kms from the heart of Hobart.

We are easy to find - just follow the main road until you get to Bus Stop 16, then look out for the super heros on the walls. Kameleon Kostumes is a fun place to visit and offer a huge range of fancy dress costumes in all sizes. Kameleon Kostumes also sell some party supplies such as helium balloons, streamers, banners and badges, although our large range of costume accessories and masks are as equally popular. Staff at Kameleon Kostumes are only too happy to help you choose the right costume and believe it should be a painless and fun experience.

Most costumes are cleaned and maintained on the premises. New costumes are being sought after on an on-going basis. So what we may not have had in the past, we may have now.

Bookings, Delivery and Terms of Hire

Bookings

Identification is required upon booking a costume. A current drivers licence or passport will be accepted. Other forms of photo ID will be accepted provided adequate proof of address is supplied.

A booking fee of a minimum $20.00 is required in advance to book your costume. This fee is deducted off the price of your hire. Costumes can be booked in person or over the phone. Please choose your costume carefully as this cost is not refundable or exchanged for another costume.

Interstate Customers (Conferences etc)
Can book over the phone with credit card details. Costumes can be delivered and picked up at a small cost.

Intrastate Customers
Can book and arrange delivery by post,bus or courier.

Terms of hire:

We require a security bond equivalent to the cost of your costume. This can be left either in cash, Eftpos or as a credit card slip. The bond will be refunded when your costume is returned on time and undamaged.

A late fee of $10 is charged for every day your costume is late.

Register your Party or Function

Why?

Because it's free and you get one (1) free costume hire for every fifteen (15) full adult costumes hired.

What do I do to register?

Just give some details of you and your party to place on the register -
Its that simple.

When should I register?

As soon as you are orgainised. Next tell your friends and guests to order through Kameleons and add their name to your party registration.

What's the catch and conditions?

There's no catch. The "free costume hire" still pays their full deposit which is refundable on the return of the costume if it is in good conditions.
